5 Nights in Vegas: The Sphere, Marriott Perks & Unforgettable Shows

This February 2025, I spent five incredible nights in Las Vegas, blending futuristic tech, world-class entertainment, and some serious relaxation. From the mind-blowing Sphere to Marriott Bonvoy perks and unforgettable shows, this trip was a perfect mix of adventure and indulgence. Here’s the inside scoop:

The Westin Las Vegas: A Smoke-Free Oasis

I stayed at The Westin Las Vegas Hotel and Spa, a haven for non-smokers and a gem for Marriott Bonvoy loyalists. Thanks to my Titanium status (Platinum members enjoy these perks too!), I was upgraded to a premium room on the highest floor, offering stunning views of the Strip.

The hotel’s location was ideal—just 10 minutes from the Bellagio and a 10-minute walk to The Sphere. Each morning, I enjoyed a complimentary brunch (no buffets here—just fresh, made-to-order dishes) and started my day with yoga and pilates classes. After hitting the gym, I unwound in the sauna and steam room, feeling completely rejuvenated.

The Sphere: A Double Dose of Magic

The Sphere was the star of the trip, and I saw ANYMA’s show twice. The visuals were otherworldly—imagine floating through galaxies, diving into oceans, and walking through surreal landscapes, all accompanied by a crystal-clear sound system that made every beat pulse through you.

The featured artists—Solomun, Cassian, and John Summit—were a fantastic surprise. John Summit, in particular, was electric. His energy and beats had the entire crowd dancing, and it’s no wonder he’s one of the hottest names in music right now.

Shows & Sights: Vegas at Its Best

Beyond The Sphere, I immersed myself in Vegas’ legendary entertainment:

  • RuPaul’s Drag Race Live: A high-energy, glitter-filled extravaganza that had me laughing and cheering all night.

  • “O” by Cirque du Soleil: A breathtaking aquatic performance that blended acrobatics, water, and fire into a visual masterpiece.

  • Arte Museum Las Vegas: An immersive digital art experience that felt like stepping into a dream.

  • Bellagio Conservatory: The Year of the Snake exhibit was stunning, with vibrant floral arrangements and intricate designs.

Pool Parties & Foodie Finds

The Marquee Dayclub hosted a pool party for Martin Garrix, and it was the perfect way to soak up the Vegas sun (and beats).

Food-wise, I indulged in:

  • Spicy Chicken Bowl at Bang Bar by Momofuku: Packed with flavour and just the right amount of heat.

  • Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken: Crispy, juicy, and perfectly spiced.

February Weather: Sunny & Cool

Vegas in February was a dream—sunny but cool, with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. It was perfect for walking the Strip or exploring outdoor attractions, though I’d recommend bringing a light jacket for the evenings.

Why Vegas is Perfect for Solo Travellers

Vegas might be known for groups, but it’s also a solo traveller’s paradise. The energy is infectious, the people-watching is unmatched, and there’s always something to do—whether it’s catching a show, trying a new restaurant, or simply wandering the Strip.
